Today is one of those days where I could be a dripping mess if it weren’t for self-care. Yes, if it were not for yoga practice and my awesome support system, ie family, friends, and yoga teachers & buddies, I would probably be wallowing in bed while my monkey mind sped out of control. I always say that self-care is an art and today I feel like a master and this tiny blog entry is my magnum opus.
It’s kind of like this: you do the yoga and the meditation everyday, like you brush your teeth. That way, when the stress comes, it rolls away, and off. When the dentist visit comes, there are no cavities, no problems. It’s also like this: you keep in touch with your people who you love and love you, even when you feel too busy to or not inclined to. You give and you give and you love and you love, and then when you need it back, it’s there for you. Like money in the bank.
